About Us
Rooted in Hernando County,
Serving All of Florida
We are a community-driven nonprofit organization founded by an independent insurance agency dedicated to protecting Florida homeowners and helping families prepare for the realities of severe weather. Based in Hernando County, we were born here — but our mission reaches every corner of the Sunshine State.
Through our work in homeowners insurance, we've seen firsthand how devastating hurricanes can be — not just structurally, but emotionally and financially for families caught in their path. Those experiences inspired us to take action beyond policies and paperwork, and to become a direct source of support when it matters most.
Our organization was built on the belief that no Florida family should feel alone or unsupported in the aftermath of a disaster. Whether you're in the Panhandle, South Florida, the Gulf Coast, or anywhere in between — when hurricanes strike and critical gaps in aid leave families struggling, we step in with immediate, compassionate assistance.
Driven by a passion for helping others and a commitment to every Florida family, we strive to be a reliable, boots-on-the-ground support system for residents across the entire state in their most vulnerable moments.
Our Core Values
Speed

Dignity
Every survivor treated with respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
Accountability
Transparent financials — 91 cents of every dollar goes directly to programs.
Partnership
We work alongside local leaders, churches, and community organizations.
A Foundation Just Getting Started

Eye of Hope is a brand new foundation — and we couldn't be more proud of that. We didn't wait for years of experience to begin making a difference. We started because Florida families needed support now, and we refused to stand by.
Born from the heart of an insurance agency that has witnessed the full weight of hurricane devastation — the loss, the fear, the long road to recovery — we decided to go beyond paperwork and become a real, hands-on force for good across Florida.
